This excellent family tavern always has two small fishing boats that provide the restaurant with fresh fish. The kitchen is not exceptional but it is mainly for the situation: feet in the water, calm, let's go to wellness.

Nous avions été le soir précédent chez Nikolas. C'était bon sans plus mais déçus par l'accueil. La nourriture n'avait rien d'exceptionnelle, grosses quantités qu'on arrive pas à terminer. Sardines, anchois poisson blanc... tout est cuit de la même façon. Chez Melina, l'accueil est beaucoup plus chaleureux. La nourriture était juste excellente, plus de finesse et mieux proportionnée (juste quantité). Vraiment on recommande.

Restaurant très chaleureux avec vue magnifique sur la mer, ambiance relaxante avec une petite musique en fond. Plats délicieux et serveurs très sympathiques, Je recommande !

Tavern Melina' S in Akrotiri/Santorini.

A priori simple and nice, with a few metres from the sea...

They display off the menu an art of petit futé (year?) is windy their dried octopus and sculptures of the owner.

Other restaurants also make dry octopus in the sun. I do not know if the recipe is good, but it is the worst place where we have roasted octopus! (very hard + sauce with vinegar).

And the fish served in fillet was not to be caught day...

Very disappointing this year. Fresh fish but is served with cold vegetables in the morning (or day before), without presentation and very expensive. The place is pleasant.

Excellent small tavern on the waterfront, the owners are lovely, grilled fish is delicious, simple and charming including life santorini!
