The Pantokrator monastery festival is a panigyri (a traditional festival with dance, music and buffet) on August 6.
The Pantokrator Monastery in Corfu was founded in 1347 when the 23 inhabitants of the surrounding villages decided to build it. The monastery was first destroyed in 1537 and then rebuilt in the 17th century. The façade of the building was even touched up in the 19th century. If you are in the vicinity, the monastery's festival with a panigyri (a traditional festival with dance, music and buffet) is held on August 6 every year.
