The village of Varipatades, situated on a high hill between olive and cypress trees, is worth a walk (4 km) from Pelekas. Varipatades is one of the most beautiful villages in the Corfu countryside. Here the scenery resembles Italy. Its top is dotted with olive and cedar trees. In the central square, called "foro" by the villagers, stands the church of Aghios Stefanos. All around, admire its houses, each more colorful than the other. And from the village, you will also have an imposing view over the plain to the sea.
