Every dish we had, had great flavours and fresh ingredients.
The view, service and staff were outstanding
Though online sources claimed that brunch was available, ultimately that wasn’t the case so we opted for lunch. The best dish was the beetroot salad, which was balanced and delicious. The cheese nuggets were alright.
The ribeye was ordered medium rare, but was served medium (something which, to the restaurant’s merit, the chef owned up to as a mistake, and we were offered the dish for free)
The presentation seemed rather uninspired and amateur.
The main issue was within the service. The waitress was eager to help, but appeared to lack basic training, as we were never offered water, and the bottle of wine we ordered was not opened in front of us. The matter of communication was a dealbreaker, and because of this we decided not to finish our ribeye meal.
Hopefully they make some improvements in the future, as this is the only place in Leuki, and it would be a shame for such a beautiful view to go to waste.
The view is breathtaking to watch the sunset and the restaurant being away from Vathy centre gives you some calmness and privacy, which make for a great and romantic atmosphere. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The food was full of flavour and hands down the best we have had in the island so far. Dishes like the simple beetroot salad were done in a way that were often the star of the show. The risotto and green pie were also memorable highlights. The only slightly negative thing I would remark is that the pricing at times was a bit off- while not all appetisers were overpriced - 17€ for a two shrimps appetiser (the dish itself was great) is a bit much- that really is pricing for a main dish that should be on its own filling. That being said all dishes were tasty and the overall experience was worth it.
