There is one exception to the touristy restaurants of the Castle district: a hidden tavern just a stone's throw from the Castle (no sign on the door - you can spot the entrance by the red-and-white coat of arms adorned with a black ox's head). We come here to drink the beer that flows freely and enjoy some of Prague's best "Czech tapas": tlacenka (the equivalent of our snout with vinaigrette), marinated sausage, pivni syr (a cheese that resembles maroilles) and klobasa are excellent and can be enjoyed for lunch, dinner or an aperitif.

Personnel rustique et grognon qui fait partie du charme de l'endroit... Bonnes saucisses, moutarde, raifort pour accompagner la bière. Requinquant!
