Operas and ballets in a magnificent neo-Renaissance building from 1888 (built and rebuilt in the 1970s), unfortunately stuck between two large noisy avenues just behind the National Museum and Prague Station. The interior of the building is sublime and reminiscent of the great days of the Austro-Hungarian Empire with gilding, red velvet, frescoes and magnificent ornate balconies. Just like the Municipal House, we go there as much for the performance as for the decor!

que vous aimiez ou pas l'opéra, courrez dans ce bel endroit de Prague. Cet opéra est un petit bijou et l’acoustique exceptionnelle. N'étant pas un habitué de l'opéra j'ai toutefois passé un très agréable soirée a un prix très raisonnable. je vous conseille vivement de tester par vous même mais allez vite réserver vos places car les Pragois adorent s'y rendre et les places disponibles se raréfient vite.

Beautiful opera right next to the Narodni museum. It is easily accessible by metro line A Muzeum. You can attend beautiful representations. An advice, spend an evening.

An imposing square, comparable to the opera Garnier, where you can admire spectles (opera, ballet,...) superbly directed and performed by troops reputation.
Unfortunately located near a motorway, access is a bit difficult.
