PRINTEMPS DE PRAGUE
It's the musical event! The large venues are sold out when the great classical music artists perform.
One of the most prestigious festivals in the city. The large halls are sold out when the greatest national and international classical music artists perform. Unquestionably the biggest musical event in the Czech capital. It traditionally begins on May 12, the anniversary of the death of Bedrich Smetana, the great Czech composer, and ends on June 3 with Beethoven's 9th Symphony at the Rudolfinum. Reservations are essential, well in advance, as the seats are literally taken by storm.
