For history enthusiasts, the museum traces the First World War and the independence of Czechoslovakia in 1918, the Nazi occupation and the resistance. Uniforms and period weapons, photographs of the front and especially a vision of the war from one end of the magnifying glass that we are not used to observe in France. Much attention is paid to Heydrich's murder by Czech paratroopers, Operation Anthropoid, which took place in Prague in 1942.
