7 mixed dormitories: 4 on the ground floor and 3 in the basement. Rest assured, the basement is clear, modern and well equipped despite the absence of windows. Dormitories No. 4 and No. 7 have a private bathroom. The common kitchen is perfectly equipped. This youth hostel built in 2010 has only one real defect: the next track that can cause early wake up… The hotel is very close to the train station and the train station is close to the train station.

Miss communication about our arrival but host was helpful and made up for it with an amazing pancake in the morning.
Very good price quality ratio

Great place with super friendly owners!
Beds are super comfortable and you have plenty of options to chill and hang out with friends/other guests.
Breakfast was great too.
Would definitely stay here again!

Do not book your stay here
Area first. There is so many homeless people, you feel unsafe, a guy told us that it was dangerous walking around at nightime and it smelled awfully around here. Only reason we stayed here was to get away with the bus next morning.
Room was a prison cell. No light in the bathroom, no water in the toilet or tap half the day, cold shower and all morning a chicken kept screaming sooo loudly. Terrible place

A great place to stay in San José. The breakfast was good and the garden is really nice. They helped us with everything and even stayed up late for us to catch our Taxi.
Nonetheless breakfast was ok and the bathrooms were clean, but the price they ask for is not ok with what you get.
