This hotel is situated in a former colonial house in the centre of Alajuela. Pleasant patio shaded with a fountain, where the hotel restaurant is located. The most economical rooms are on the street side, the other side of the patio. Friendly welcome.

Amazing staff! Super welcoming! My boyfriend surprised me with a stay here. This hotel used to be a hospital! Being a nurse, it was definitely special place to stay! Thank you for your welcoming hospitality!

Charles, Heather, Jesse and the rest of the staff are a treasure. They are very helpful and extremely nice. The hotel was clean, quiet and relaxing and in a great location for traveling to and from the nearby airport, I can’t recommend the hotel enough.

An absolute gem close to the airport / but feels like we’re in an old world home. Lovely courtyard. Perfect English / great customer service. What a nice end to our vacation on Costs Rica! The owners made feel right at home. Thank you, Heather & Charles. ❤️
