Among the alignment of tourist restaurants on the port, Glossitses is an exception. Of course, it is frequented by tourists like any restaurant on the port, but the locals also recommend it, which of course is a sign that does not deceive! On the warehouse side, this fish tavern cultivates a modern approach and less traditional than its competitors. A good address to watch passers-by, while being watched, reveling in fresh fish (check the prices per kilo, as always!)

This is one of the best seafood restaurants I have tried in Chania town. As to avoid those touristic restaurants, we walked to the end of the harbour and entered this restaurant based on a good review.

Few customers at this time of year, but the service was good and efficient. Fresh green salads served with seafood of our choice. Fresh grilled octopus was yummy.

Came here on New Year’s Day and it was empty so grabbed a seat outside for lunch. The view is nice but that’s where it stops for positives. The waitress didn’t offer or bring water, we aided for regular bread and were given pita, the house white wine was the worst I’ve had in Greece and I didn’t enjoy my mussels, they were tough/ rubbery and not well flavored. Will not be back.

Nous y sommes allés car recommandé par le routard. Le service n’était franchement pas top (oubli de pas mal de choses commandées et pas forcément sympathiques).
Les plus sont la vue sur le port et le fait qu’ils ouvrent tôt.
Le repas était cher et pas exceptionnel.
