REMEZZO
Since 1978, this is the usual meeting place for port staff because it is the first to open (at 5 am in the morning) and the last to close (at 3 am)! Here you can find happiness at any time of the day. In the morning there is a wide variety of cold or hot coffee for breakfast. Lunch for lunch: pizza, kebab (the specialty of the deemed better house of the city) or the freshly prepared dish of the day. Not to mention the children's menus at 6 €. Afternoon: Pressed fruit juice, ice cuts, waffles, pancakes or cheese cake well served to be eaten by two. Evening: contemplation of sunset and walkers. The traditional kleftiko, stifada or fish are tasted… and the mavrodaphni, a typical Greek wine very aromatic, strong, slightly sweet. Later in the night: some cocktails. But the interest (in addition to the specialities proposed above) is that we are on a protected archaeological site which can be seen, naturally hidden next to the bar, a remnant of almost inaperçu wall belonging to the juxtaposed mosque. By paying attention, inscriptions in Arabic are still distinguished and fountains used to wash their feet before prayer.
