Historic and intimate luxury hotel with comfortable rooms.
This Renaissance villa was the home of the Renier nobles, one of the most prominent Venetian families to settle in Chania during the 17th century. Now transformed into a luxury hotel with just nine rooms and suites, it's a real privilege to stay in this historic house. Almost hidden away in an alleyway in the Topanas district, the hotel offers comfortable rooms, most with a view of the old port. A historic and intimate destination, just like Hania's old town.

L' hotel tè una ubicació excel.lent als casc antic de Chaina i a tocar el mar.A nosaltres ens van agradar les habitacions netes, modernes i confortables. El personal es molt amable i diligent, el esmorzar espectacular.Té molt a prop restaurants i botigues.
Hotel with an excellent location in the old town of Chaina. We liked the clean, modern and comfortable rooms. The staff is particularly friendly and diligent, the breakfast spectacular. Restaurants and boutiques are nearby.

Everything about this hotel was perfect - its history, its modern design, the rooms, the staff, its central location - it was an incredible stay, a cultural experience, and a true 5 stars! We stayed in the Master Suite and highly recommend it. The room was huge and having that balcony overlooking the Lighthouse and Old Port of Chania might have been the highlight of our trip. It was stunning. The staff was also extremely courteous and welcoming and they really helped make our stay extra special. If I could give this hotel more than 5 stars I absolutely would.

I stayed at a few hotels during my visit in Chania. This hotel was the only unsatisfied one among all. Weird no one ever mentioned things below.
1. There were flies/bug in our room and even flied to our bed. We informed the front desk and she advised to use insecticide to spay our room but we declined it.
2. We had the suite on the first floor which located right above the restaurant/bar. The description of this room on the hotel website was suite with loft and sea view. We didn't expect that the room actually is first facing a restaurant and the water behind. We could still heard their musics and bass sounds till late night. There was a sofa and reading desk upstairs in the loft. But it was too dark to read even in the daytime with the light switched on. So literally we didn't go upstairs as nothing we could do upstairs. This suite was also on the same floor of front desk and breakfast room.
3. Have traveled a lot and been stayed many hotels of 3-5 stars under hot/cold weather. Not a single hotel that the bed didn't come with duvets. When we were about to sleep we found that there was no duvet under the bed runner. Then we gave feedback, the receptionist said "the housekeeping forgot to put the duvet in you room" another staff said "we don't provide duvets. if you don't switch on the air-con. You are good. You don't need it. Just use the bed runner" I was speechless. I thought I stayed at a 4-5 star hotel.
4. The most ungenerous breakfast we ever had in a hotel. You had to pay if you wanna refill anything. Only one coffee and a half glass of orange juice and you get some bread. Then only one main was included and the portion was small (definitely not Greek size).
I don't recommend this hotel as there are plenty of good options nearby.

This hotel is absolutely amazing! The staff are excellent, the location is on the water and among all of the shops and restaurants. The building is part of a historic palace and has been remodeled. The breakfast that is included with the room is also top notch. This hotel has five stars because six is not an option. I do plan to stay here again.

La taille de la chambre est satisfaisante, et plus grande que les autres établissements sur le port
