Hotel with 26 comfortable rooms offering a view of the sea and the city.
From the top of its hill, Hotel Alexis offers a magnificent view of the sea and the city. Theo and his sisters left Canada to take over the management of the hotel, which was opened over 20 years ago by their parents. The 26 renovated rooms are simple but comfortable, with spacious bathrooms. On the ground floor, the Theodossi restaurant has earned its reputation for offering traditional Cretan cuisine with Canadian flavours, the remnants of a life spent in Vancouver. Rooms with a view of the beach and the city are highly recommended.

Hôtel situé un peu en périphérie de La Canée, le centre ville reste néanmoins accessible à pieds (30-40minutes). Le personnel est très accueillant, et parle anglais.
La chambre d'hôtel est petite mais correcte, avec vue sur la mer depuis le balcon, mais il faut s'équiper de bonnes chaussures pour accéder à la plage car le chemin n'est pas balisé.
L'hôtel dispose d'une piscine+jacuzzi mais ils n'étaient pas chauffés lors de notre séjour.
Le petit déjeuné est appréciable, même s'il pourrait y avoir plus de choix.
Le restaurant accolé à l'hôtel (Theodonisi) est en revanche délicieux avec de généreuses portions et propose de nombreux choix de spécialités grecques.
