PENSION THERESA
Typical and comfortable hotel with terrace in a beautiful setting in Chania.
Here is a typical address of the Topanas boarding houses, a bit old-fashioned and very kitschy. Antique objects and incredible furniture from all eras give a soul to this unusual place where you can't be too concerned about comfort. On the roof, the flowered and shaded terrace overlooks the port and the mosque. What a beautiful setting to have breakfast to prepare yourself in the communal kitchen (available free of charge). Be careful: the staircase is steep and the streets around can be a bit hectic, so the nights can be a bit noisy!

Bad: The bed was very uncomfortable you could feels the springs, the curtains didn’t block out the morning light. You had to hold the shower head which was annoying. Being so well located it was noisey at night and you could hear stuff in the ally below. Free breakfast is cornflakes and toast. The spiral staircase to get in is really steep!
