Maritime museum tracing the maritime history of Crete, including that of the merchant marine.
This museum offers a long journey through the maritime history of Crete, from the Bronze Age to the Second World War. The naval battles of 1821 for independence and 1941 against the Germans are particularly well documented. Merchant shipping, shells, and traditions are also discussed... Finally, the pilot deck of one of the Greek destroyers is reconstructed, and everyone can try their hand at manoeuvring! Very attractive and instructive. An annex of the museum is located in the Neoria Moro docks, at the other end of the port.

Émouvant, même, dans la salle retraçant la guerre ! un album rend hommage aux victimes avec leur photo !
Des maquettes de bateaux anciens et une vue très agréable sur le port complète la visite
