With panoramic views over Souda Bay, the Vamos village valley and the White Mountains, the Aétopholia tavern (eagles' nest) offers authentic Cretan mountain dishes: lamb in wine (Sfakia recipe), rabbit stew, pork fricassee or, especially on Sundays, baked piglet. The grills are exquisite, and the food and salads are of the highest quality. Don't leave before you try the meatballs! The bread is sourdough and baked over a wood fire. A very good address.

Τέλειο φαγητό, τέλεια εξυπηρέτηση, τιμές λογικές, πεντανόστιμα όλα, μεγάλες μερίδες, γνήσιο κρητικό φαγητό, καλό κρασί,ωραίο γλυκό, τέλεια επιλογή για βόλτα και φαγητό.
