Above a souvenir shop and facing the lake at the entrance, this address offers traditional Cretan cuisine and family cooking. From its shady terrace, you have a wonderful view of the mountain landscape and the lake of Kournas. Good selection of varied local food in generous portions. Among its dishes: antikristo (pieces of lamb cooked slowly over a wood fire), tomatoes, peppers and aubergines stuffed with rice and herbs, stuffed vine leaves, kalitsounia with cheese and herbs (puff pastry), etc. Service with a smile.
