Cave of Zoures in Azogires in altitude presenting a source, stalactites and a chapel.
The caves of Zoures and Charakas are located in the village of Azogires and are both closely linked to the religious life of the region. The Zoures cave is located at an altitude of 535 meters north-south of the village. Three long wrought-iron stairs give access to this rather deep, abyssal and rocky cave where one can see a spring and stalactites. At the bottom of the cave is a small chapel dedicated to the 99 holy Fathers of Orthodox dogma who, according to the Greek Church, found refuge there in the 19th century.
