Τemenia is a pretty little village, at an altitude of 700 meters, 62 km from Hania, on the road from Kandanos-Anissaraki-Babakado. The village, on the edge of the Minoan site of Yrtakina, has been inhabited since ancient times, as evidenced by recent discoveries during archaeological excavations.
