Impressive olive tree not far from a chapel, among the oldest in Crete.
On the road that climbs towards Temenia (where the company of the same name that treats the local spring water is located), a little before reaching the small hamlet of Anisaraki, on the left as you go up, a path leads to the chapel of Agios Giorgos (the sign in Greek is not easy to find). And just before reaching the chapel, on the right, you will see an olive tree which is probably one of the oldest in Crete. Impressive! Particularly bucolic setting. An explanatory panel, in front of the olive tree, gives some interesting information about this tree.
