Ideal hotel for summer vacations with simple and pleasant rooms.

It is an old manor house, completely restored and refurbished, situated in a green property. Ideal for both summer and winter holidays. Five simple but pleasant rooms. A large kitchen is available for preparing meals and eating out. The owner also sometimes cooks and everyone eats together. Conviviality and a good welcome are guaranteed. For groups of hikers, there is a dormitory, which will be opened on request. Antonis, the owner, also has a taverna in the village.

Sono stato consigliato da una collega che ci era stata l'anno prima. In effetti vale assolutamente la pena andare da Antonis e da sua moglie che gestiscono questa meraviglia. Le camere, tutte triple e con un ottimo prezzo, sono all'interno di piccole casette di sassi, recuperate e sistemate una ventina di anni fa da Antonis. Niente tv, niente wifi, niente aria condizionata, ma non servono assolutamente, se si vuole un'oasi di pace e tranquillità. A 800 m di altezza l'aria al mattino presto e alla sera è sempre fresca e di giorno il caldo è secco e non umido come sulla vicina costa sottostante. E' vicinissimo alle stupende Gole di Aradena e al tranquillo e spettacolare tratto di costa fra la meravigliosa Loutro e la spiaggia della Marmara, allo sbocco delle gole. Si può pranzare, cenare e fare colazione da loro, tutto preparato dalle mani della moglie di Antonis, anche con prodotti della loro terra.
Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è eccezionale. Provare per credere!

Great food, friendly people, fascinating road from Hora Sfakion. White mountains look so barren from distance, but it is a green world once you get past Aradena.

Δωμάτια και χώροι αυθεντικοί, απλοί. Υπέροχη θέα στα Λευκά Όρη ακούγοντας μόνο τα πρόβατα και τις μέλισσες. Νόστιμο κρητικό φαγητό. Δυνατότητες για πεζοπορίες σε δάση κυπαρισσιού, σε θέσεις θέας, σε φαράγγια. Ο Αντώνης και η Άννα εξαιρετικοί οικοδεσπότες. Δεν βλέπω την ώρα να ξαναπάω.

Μαγικό μέρος, ιδανικό για χαλάρωση. Εκεί φάγαμε τον καλύτερο ντάκο σε ολόκληρη την Κρήτη και οι τιμές του δεν υπάρχουν πουθενά αλλού. Ένα μεγάλο μπράβο στους οικοδεσπότες που κρατάνε το περιβάλλον τόσο αληθινό και ανθρώπινο.
