KOTSIFOS GORGES
The gorge of Kotsifos located between the peaks of Kouroupa and Krioneritis has an impressive view.
The Kotsifos Gorge is smaller than its rival Kourtaliotiko, but it remains really impressive. It is located between the peaks of Kouroupa (984 m) and Krioneritis (1,312 m). Its length is 2 kilometers. The place is windy and very hot in high season, so be sure to bring water. The view is impressive, worthy of an Ennio Morricone scenery, there are several small nooks and crannies to take beautiful pictures. You can see breathtaking landscapes, impressive ravines, imposing cliffs but no vegetation.
