HOUSE OF RURAL CRAFTS

From December 9th to January 7th, during the 4 weeks of winter holidays, 4 weeks of Easter holidays and the rise at September 15th, Open every day except Monday, from 10am to 12pm and from 2.30pm to 7pm. The rest of the year, open on Thursday morning and Saturday, from 10am to 12pm and from 3pm to 6pm. A dozen km in the Southwest of La Bourboule on D922, Maison de l’Artisanat are, to date, the only place of exhibition offering such a diversity of creations. It is in a superb room, that one can admire the fantastic work of many craftspersons: ground, wood, lava, jewels, basket making, drink, painted metal, wool, flowers dried, painted silk, binding, leather and cutlery. Demonstrations by craftsmen of the village are organized Thursdays of July and August on the village square, from 2.30pm to 6pm. Workshops for the children are also proposed Wednesday and Friday afternoon on registration, rate is from €2.50 for one hour of activity.
