The Amsterdam Cheese Company is a brand of CONO Kaasmakers, an iconic Dutch cheese manufacturer that has been around for over 100 years. They have 4 stores in Amsterdam. The one on Nieuwendijk is located in a magnificent historic building in the heart of the city's historic shopping street. Inside, you'll find all kinds of Dutch goudas and cheeses, as well as souvenirs and other gifts to take home. And don't forget: the cheese tasting is free! Not to be missed!

We are true Dutch cheese lovers who want to share our passion and pride for the best products of our country! We have several cheese shops in the heart of Amsterdam. These shops are our home base. This is where we meet cheese lovers from all over the world who are looking for the best Dutch cheese. All our shops are unique, but what else can you expect when you are based in Amsterdam?
Our cheesemakers continually invest in new technologies that ensure sustainable and environmentally friendly cheese production. As a small cooperative located just north of Amsterdam, we always want to evolve and therefore we comply with the highest standards of animal welfare, sustainability and, of course, taste. By conducting taste tests every week, we ensure that we provide you with the best quality and best tasting cheese. Try it for yourself when you visit one of our stores.
