RESTAURANTE ÁGUAS LIVRES
Next to Jardim dos Amoreiras, a restaurant offering traditional cuisine inspired by dishes from the Alentejo. A large room with antique decoration dotted with tile, ceramic and statues of Santo António de Alfama. Apparently the house adopted it like the unchanging TV screen! Grilled meats, homemade French fries, eat a very good "arroz de pato" (duck rice). Quantities are copious, and very reasonable prices. A homemade kitchen, reminiscent of the one found in the southern Portuguese lands. Service rather professional, caring though sometimes whimsical.
