My partner and I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel in Lisbon from March 23rd to March 27th, 2024, with the hopes of enjoying a warm spring getaway in Portugal. Unfortunately, our plans were dampened by unexpected stormy weather, with temperatures plummeting to as low as 11°C, leading us to cut our stay short.
Despite the less-than-ideal weather, the hotel itself stood out as a haven of comfort and hospitality. The tranquility and luxury of our room allowed us to momentarily forget the dreariness outside. The sauna and gym provided an escape, offering a chance for relaxation and exercise. The room service was efficient, their selection of Portuguese wine exquisite and their breakfast was setting a positive tone for the day.
A unique aspect of this hotel is its size and the intimate atmosphere it fosters. This creates a home-like feeling, enabling guests to detach from the outside world—a sentiment I fully embraced by our second day.
The hotel is located in the peaceful district of Belem, offering a quiet retreat from the bustling city center.
The hotel was exceptionally clean and modern. Every area, including our room, was spotless, emphasizing their strong focus on hygiene and contemporary comfort.
However, the true essence of the hotel's charm lies in its staff. Their proactive approach to service, exemplified by thoughtful gestures such as placing water bottles in our car upon departure without our request, truly set them apart. Their attentiveness, warmth, and genuine kindness transformed our stay into an unforgettable journey. The welcoming and caring nature of the staff underscored our entire visit, making us feel truly valued and appreciated.
In summary, while the weather may have cut our visit to Lisbon short, the hotel itself gave us every reason to stay. Its exceptional service, ambiance, and the sheer quality of every amenity offered make it a jewel. For those in search of a place that not only feels like home but is also enriched with attentive and thoughtful service, this hotel is undoubtedly the right choice.
Was besser sein könnte:
- Sauna ist sehr klein und nicht warm genug
- Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig, das stört besonders Nachts -> wir haben die Nachbarn in der Nacht laut sprechen können.
