If you're in the mood for an old-fashioned sausage-purée, head to the Kaffeehaus, a beautiful Viennese café in the heart of the Chiado, full of regulars. The à la carte menu features delicious Austrian specialties. We liked the breaded mushrooms with tartar sauce and mixed salad. The apfelstrudel is very good, as are the traditional Emmentaler grilled sausages and draught beers. You can't leave without trying an excellent Viennese hot chocolate. At weekends, a hearty brunch is served. Service is always relaxed.
