EVERESTE MONTANHA 1
Located above the São Domingos church and the D. Maria theatre in a small street that climbs towards Santa Ana. It's not bad if you forgot your crampons, it's not Himalayas! A few steps are enough to reach this modest small restaurant (1999 seats at most!), opened in and featuring a delicious, traditional Nepal and Indian cuisine, served in small pots heated to the candle. It fills all over the street… Specialities often in sauce (6 to 10 €), whether tangy or not, prepared with the greatest attention in a tiny kitchen, use grilled chicken, seafood or cabrito (kid, very assiduous in many places). The accompaniment consists of different simmered rice and vegetables (to note a good selection of vegetarian plates). As for homemade digestive, it is offered at the end of meals, all with a spontaneous smile and kindness.
