ADEGA VICTOR HORTA
In this unique location in the Palace of the Counts of Vila Flor, a national monument of over 500 years of history, has been restored the atmosphere of an old adega (cellar-bodega) with ancient azulejos, soft lighting and wooden furniture. Cooks develop dishes cooked exclusively in wood fire, in small cauldrons. Typical Portuguese regional recipes are to the credit: Let yourself be tempted by the coelho de (rabbit pot) or bacalhau a adega (cod cooked in the fire with garlic, onion and olive oil net) and by a hundred petiscos (tapas) different, stews or not, including small fries, stuffed mushrooms or melted cheeses to pâmer! Wrapped on a wall of walls, barrels filled with wine remind us that Victor Horta, the beloved master of places, is also producer of very good wines in History (Extremadura). The sifted light, the music of atmosphere and the discreet professional service take part in this journey in time… A good address!
