In a slightly old-fashioned, all-wooden setting, Aunt Mathilde's restaurant is undoubtedly one of the places to eat one of Lisbon's best fish caldeiradas, and we highly recommend it. The fish is marinated and cooked with finesse, and the flavors of the broth are just perfect. Pleasant, friendly service. In short, a good address. For the curious, "tia Mathilde" is in honor of a great lady who opened a tasca in the 20's where, it seems, delicious petiscos were eaten.
