In front of the Assembly of the Republic, one believes first of all that the place is closed or that the address is wrong! Nay, you have to ring the bell before you can enter this sort of private club with its muffled lighting and the intense allure of an old Lisbon café. Vegetarians are not recommended, as the menu only includes one unique and unchanging speciality: beef bife à la portugaise, in the pure tradition of the 18th century! The piece of meat is grilled before being bathed in a sauce made with lots of butter and fresh cream!

Ce petit restaurant est très cosy. L'accueil est très agréable, l'ambiance est traditionnelle et chaleureuse. Les plats sont bons et les produits sont de qualité. Il manque juste un peu de variété car le choix est très restreint.
