TAZA
Taza, a brand-new Lebanese restaurant opened by chef Anthony Abi Haidardans, specializes in gourmet sandwiches. They are prepared with Kaaké, a traditional Middle Eastern bread - somewhere between a pita and a bagel - covered with sesame seeds, typical of the streets of Beirut and bought from street vendors. Taza has taken this concept and adapted it to its menu, incorporating Mediterranean and Portuguese ingredients (cheeses, cured ham and oregano). Try the hummus, labneh and one of these wonderful sandwiches.
