BOTEQUIM
A bar that is now almost historic! Take the high road and spend the evening in the emblematic neighborhood of Graça.
At the foot of Vila Sousa - a former workers' housing estate - and a stone's throw from Graça's splendid viewpoint, this busy little bistro is little more than a neighborhood bar. Founded in 1969 by the charismatic Natália Correia, Botequim was the haunt of Portuguese thinkers and revolutionaries in the 1970s. From this long history, many books remain in the bar's library, along with an intimate, popular atmosphere that locals love. We go there to have a drink on the large terrace set out on the square, but we can also have a bite to eat, especially salads and tostas. It's always a good time.
