A beautiful hostel in an old palace, it has a good restaurant.

Located in the lively Bairro Alto district, this former palace has been converted into a hotel. From the moment you enter the large reception hall, the atmosphere is one of retro, with a grand staircase leading to all three floors. The moldings on the ceilings, the beautiful parquet floors and the architecture of the building are truly charming. To the right of the reception area, in the background, is the Decadente restaurant, which has made a name for itself with its modern Portuguese cuisine. Go and have a look! In fine weather, the shaded terrace at the back is a delight.

La pasé muy bien ahí, me atendieron de muy buena manera, el servicio tanto de recepción como del restaurante son muy buenos, está ubicado cerca a un parque con una vista increíble del casco histórico

J'ai trouvé cette auberge de jeunesse sur un site internet qui répertoriait les meilleures auberges de jeunesse d'Europe. Je me suis laissée séduire, d'abord par le prix, puis par l'ambiance feutrée et lounge de ce grand hall aux allures de début 1900. Les dortoirs sont spacieux et confortables. Rien de tel qu'un verre au bar pour commencer la soirée.
