Its location, very central in one of the lisboètes districts par excellence, is an interesting step. Everything is at hand: Excursion to historic Lisbon and shopping the day, theatres, bars and discos in the evening. Well, the decoration is definitely classic, sometimes a kitsch and the 96 rooms are no longer so spotless, not to mention breakfast more than basic. The location of this historic institution is still a great success (since 1884!). The rooms, which are located on the pedestrian road (not recommended for the early risers), are open to the charming evening start of the Chiado. It can be said that this neighborhood has a soul, at least that of Fernando Pessoa, immortalized in the café Brasileira.

Não dá pra ir de carro - a Rua é um quarteirão fechado , mas tem estacionamento subterrâneo bem próximo !
Não foi caro e estivemos num quarto grande com janelas para a rua .
Zodra je de deur uit stapt kom je midden op een plein uit, daar heb je genoeg gelegenheden om te eten. Op 20 meter afstand van het hotel heb je een opstap plaats voor het openbaar vervoer.
Het personeel is de ene keer wel vriendelijk en de andere keer lijken ze een beetje arrogant.

Hotel com cheiro de esgoto nas dependências e alguns quartos que ouvi reclamações.
Banheiro na parte do banho com ralo entupido e demora pra descer água e nisso dava alagamento no banheiro. (Quarto 419)
Porém local muito bom, camas e lençóis confortáveis. Café da manhã completo e bem servido, além do ambiente bem grande!
Elevador pequeno, mas novo!
