Hotel in a quiet area, which offers nice rooms at unbeatable prices.
In a quiet area, this former residencial has been renovated with more comfort. A little less than fifty rooms, distributed in a building reminiscent of the Butte Rouge in Chatenay Malabry. The new rooms are rather pleasant, especially since a good part of them overlook the Braamcamp Freire garden. The hotel has lost some of its splendor since it opened, but the prices remain unbeatable compared to the current offer in the center of Lisbon.

I stayed here for 6 nights, when it was raining heavily I saw water coming from windows into the room. There are old stains on the walls from previous rains :) but still it met my expectations, so thanks!

Decently located, but it's still about a 20-30 minute walk away from tourist locations. It's also a 10-15 minute walk away from the nearest subway station, which proved frustrating when it was raining. The biggest problem, however, was with the climate control in the room. It seemed to be connected to a central system, and they had locked out the air conditioning option. It was still decently warm when we were there, and we would've greatly benefitted from the AC. It also seemed to have a mind of its own, I had set it to 19°C on the first night when I hadn't yet realised the ac wasn't working, and I woke upin a sweat to it suddenly set up to 27°C. Unfortunately this provided for two uncomfortable night sleeps.
