Right in the heart of Bairro Alto, Purex is a well-known meeting place for queer night owls, but not only. In the evenings, crowds gather in front of the club's famous orange doors, illustrated by local artist Jacqueline de Montaigne. The atmosphere is always lively, with dancing and conversation going on until 3 a.m., with no time to lose. The space is narrow and smoky - you can still smoke inside - but that's part of the charm of the place, and the atmosphere is always friendly. Above all, we're here to have a good time.
