TEATRO DE CAMÕES
Formerly known as the Jules Verne Theatre (it changed its name after the Universal Exhibition), the Camões Theatre is a beautiful concrete and glass building facing the Tagus in the bizarrely modern Parque das Nações district. Here, lovers of ballet and contemporary dance will find what they're looking for. The theater is home to the vibrant Companhia Nacional de Bailado. Usually in September (or several times a year), the theater opens its doors free of charge to the public with artistic activities. Registration required.
