If you'd like to discover Fado in a way other than at a dinner party, here's something that might interest you. The venue is right in the center, in the Baixa district. The show begins with an introduction to the history of Fado, with a short projection and, of course, Amalia Rodrigues. Then two different singers take to the stage. You can then let yourself be transported to the Lisbon of another era. A nice little extra: a glass of port served at the beginning to get you in the mood.

Spectacle à Lisboa em Fado à Lisbonne, Portugal
Le spectacle de fado organisé par Lisboa em Fado a lieu dans une salle intimiste de la ville de Lisbonne au Portugal. J’ai été enchantée par les mélodies et les chants effectués en solo et en duo par un et une artiste accompagnés par deux guitaristes réellement excellents dans leur art. L’humour n’était pas absent lors des explications fournies par les artistes, ce qui était encore plus agréable. Le porto offert (ou un jus de fruit) à l’arrivée était également bien bon. Un spectacle mémorable au pays du Fado !
