VELHO PÁTEO DE SANT’ANA
Rather isolated from the major night poles of Lisbon, but not so far between Estefânia and Sant'Ana, this quality lair, works, mainly with hotels in the zone and beyond. The decor of azulejos and tiles in the th century is warmly welcoming, as a village patio with small houses and cobbled floors. On a real scene in the main hall or in a decorated gallery of celebrities, or a shawl of the Amália Rodrigues diva, the featured fado is truly authentic, a little revue style. In this former place of tertúlias (artistic meetings) held in 1998, the interpreters (musicians and singers) do not come out of nowhere, the line-up includes a music teacher from the Fado Museum or even singers participating in the great Fado biographies of the most famous theatres in the capital. Full of emotions, the sizes come before a few pairs and a final of the entire team, under the direction of the charismatic Lina Caiero! In the meantime, a typical Portuguese cooking meal (cozido to, cataplanas, cod or pig cooked…) is served in an impeccable way, it is also possible to come a little later to drink a drink by taking advantage of the show. Suitable for a unique moment during your stay…
