It is the feast of Huma (the Avante is the newspaper of the Partido Comunista Português!) which takes place on the other side of the Tagus. Many people for shows, very good concerts of Portuguese music and, incidentally, some debates and great speeches. It attracts a crowd of Portuguese people because the programme contains quite a few well-known groups in Portugal: the old rock bands, which we love all generations combined, and the new ones that are breaking through. Besides, it's unlikely to happen in the rain.
