Roman baths in the form of huge pools organizing very exceptionally guided tours in Lisbon.
Consisting of different galleries where some vestiges of Roman architecture linger, these thermal baths, probably dating from the first century AD, are presented in the form of enormous basins. We owe their discovery, made by the architects of the Marquis of Pombal, to the earthquake! For visits, ask at the city museum, which very exceptionally organizes guided tours attracting crowds on specific dates. We warn you, the places are taken by storm because they take place only a few times a year.
