Church of one nave with many Italians and with baroque frescoes by Antonio Machado Sapeiro.
Rebuilt after the earthquake of 1755 (but the first stone was laid in 1519!), this church of one nave is nicknamed "the church of the Italians" because it was built at the time to accommodate the many Italians coming from Genoa or Venice. You can see the baroque frescoes of Antonio Machado Sapeiro who introduced perspective painting in his country. Dating from 1702, they have only recently been restored to their former splendor.
