PAVILHÃO DE PORTUGAL (PAVILION OF PORTUGAL)
Impressive building as a simple sheet of paper placed on two bricks, benefiting from a real architectural feat.
This impressive building by the famous architect Álvaro Siza Vieira is impressive, both near and far. Born from the idea of a simple sheet of paper placed on two bricks, you will admire its ceremonial square covered under an imposing and original concrete pala (visor), so as not to spoil the view of the Tagus. A real architectural feat! His heavy task was to represent Portugal at the 1998 World Expo, a task accomplished.
