Venerable museum ship moored on the Tagus River near the Cacilhas river station with mannequins.
Moored on the banks of the Tagus near the river station at Cacilhas (Almada), this venerable museum ship burned down in 1963 and was restored in 1998. One of the last ships to sail the Indian route, she covered over 100,000 nautical miles! A good way to dream of stormy crossings and courageous captains, or even to think of yourself as Vasco de Gama... As you pass through the various decks, you'll get an idea of what life was like on board, thanks in particular to the mannequins.
