National Museum of Ethnology with an interesting ethnographic collection and temporary exhibitions with various pieces.
Above Belém, the museum presents an interesting ethnographic collection from the former Portuguese colonies in Africa, Brazil (Amazonia) and Asia (Macao, Indonesia, Timor), but also from mainland Portugal. It includes more than 26,000 objects that are partly visible, including temporary exhibitions. In a building specially created for this purpose in 1965, the presentation resolutely highlights the various rooms.
