Impressive and wonderful botanical garden in Lisbon, with the rarest exotic and tropical plants.

Created in 1873, this 4-hectare garden is aerated by an extraordinary palm alley and slopes down to the ghostly theaters of Parque Mayer. This botanical garden is a romantic maze of exotic and tropical plants of the rarest kind (more than 2,500 species), invasive philodendrons, gigantic ficus trees, primitive ferns. Impressive and wonderful, little visited, this garden is considered one of the most beautiful in Europe. Don't forget to visit the butterfly house near the entrance, it will please the children.

When the heat of the city, which pleasure to walk to the shade under the greenery of mature trees. A green area lost in the city center, often deserted, romantic although a bit of écrepie (for budget lack of maintenance and D). But do is what makes its charm! Plas forget to put through butterflies, near the entrance, that kids will love.
