RESERVATÓRIO DA MÃE D'ÁGUA - MUSEU DA ÁGUA
Cubic building housing an aqueduct where water has been flowing for more than 2 centuries and organizing temporary exhibitions.
La Mère de l'Eau (The Mother of Water) is the name of the cubic building at the end of the aqueduct. The show is inside, where the waters of the aqueduct have been trickling down a wall for over two centuries, sculpting a gigantic concretion, and then dying in the waters of the reservoir. Immersive shows take place here from 3pm. The Galeria do Loreto, with its 1,200 m of tunnels lined with canals to carry water to the fountains, leads to the miradouro São Pedro de Alcântara.
