During the earthquake, the main occupant of this square, the Royal Hospital of All Saints, was consumed in a fire with several hundred of his patients. It was then used as a market place with covered markets until the 1950s. Today, it welcomes all day long young skateboarders, gourmet tourists, lottery ticket sellers, or inhabitants of the outskirts who have come to the city. There are regularly fairs that are set up in its centre, supervised by the bronze equestrian statue of Dom João I.

Nous y sommes passé pour prendre le Tram (qui a fini par tomber en panne...) mais pas grand chose à faire sur la place

Place centrale pour les transports
La place du figuier (praca da figueira) est une place plutôt centrale de Lisbonne, car elle concentre plusieurs lignes de bus, de tramway et le métro à proximité. On y trouve quelques boutiques mais rien d'extraordinaire.

Agréable place à traverser pour vous rendre dans les rues pietonne du centre qui sont à 2 pas.
Place très commercante ou vous pourrez faire faire vos achats divers ou de souvenirs
un peu avant vous aurez une jolie vue sur le chateau

Place très centrale, qui débouche sur toutes les rues intéressantes... Un marché artisanal avec de nombreuses échoppes, autour des stations de tram et des vues sur les montagnes / collines autour , ainsi que sur le château... J'aime beaucoup...
